Six Degrees of IU
You know the motto of the Indiana University Alumni Association is “Connecting alumni. Serving IU.” And you know the IUAA connects our alumni through our online directory, class notes, reunions, and other events. But it turns out some of our alumni and faculty are better connected than we thought. Based on the Gen-X party pastime “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon,” this game is easy. Beginning on the left, connect each person to the person on the right via movies, TV, or personal relationships. In every case, six steps will take you to the most connected man in the universe, Kevin Bacon. We’ve given you hints. Can you figure out the connections? Check your answers at the bottom of this page.

“Six Degrees of IU” was compiled by Amanda Zuicens-Williams, BA’01,
who is the distant cousin of June Carter Cash. Cash was in The Apostle (1997)
with Robert Duvall, who was in Secondhand Lions (2003) with Haley Joel
Osment, who was in Mixed Nuts (1994) with Steve Martin, who was
in Novocaine (2001) with — you guessed it — Kevin Bacon.
