Banner Contest
This is your chance to show just how creative your group or student organization can be! Any group is eligible to participate by hanging its banner in a visible location.
Check "Banner Contest" on the "Rock the House" application.
HOW IT WORKS
- All banners must include this year's Homecoming theme: "Rock the House."
- A creative variation of the theme centered around or relating to IU pride, spirit, Hoosiers vs. Penn State, "Rock the House," etc.
- Only oil-based paint may be used on the banners due to the possibility of rain, which will cause water-based paint to run.
JUDGING AND AWARDS
Judging for all banners will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 17. Entries will be judged on creativity, use of color, design, and incorporation of the "Rock the House" theme. The winner will be announced during halftime of the Homecoming game.
WHEN AND WHERE
Banners must be completed and displayed by 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, to be considered for points and awards. Points will be deducted if your banner is not up by this deadline.
