IU vs. Northwestern
Yell Like Hell
Come and join in the fun by creating a three-minute act to show your Homecoming spirit! Do anything from a lip synch, dance, stand-up comedy, or skit — you name it!
Check "Yell Like Hell" on the "Hoosier Field of Dreams" application.
HOW IT WORKS
- All skits should include a theme relating to or focused on Homecoming, football, IU, Northwestern, "Hoosier Field of Dreams," etc.
- There is a time limit of three minutes for the actual skit, with approximately five minutes between acts for set-up and tear-down.
- A microphone and lighting/sound equipment will be provided. Any other props will be the responsibility of the participants.
* All skits are subject to a required preview session either Sunday, Oct. 19, or Monday, Oct. 20, in the DeVault Alumni Center. Indicate a preferred date on the application and you will be contacted to schedule a time.
JUDGING AND AWARDS
Judging will be based upon originality, appearance (including costumes and props), and crowd response, so bring your friends to cheer you on! Winners will be announced that evening and during halftime of the Homecoming game. This event will have first and second-place winners in two categories: spirit and dance. The awards will be chosen based upon the following criteria: use of Homecoming theme, originality, appearance (including costumes and props), and crowd response.
WHEN AND WHERE
Thursday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall in the Indiana Memorial Union. We will be starting on time, so please be prompt!
