Alumni Chapter Leaders Conference
Calling all alumni chapter leaders and volunteers! The IU Alumni Association is once again hosting its annual Alumni Chapter Leaders Conference in Bloomington, June 17-18, 2005. The conference will once again provide chapter volunteers the opportunity to learn more about new alumni chapter programs and services; meet and network with fellow chapter leaders and university officials; and gain a fresh perspective on how to effectively manage and develop your alumni chapter.

Registration and Conference Schedule!
The conference begins on Friday, June 17, at 10 a.m. (Opening Session in the Georgian Room, Indiana Memorial Union) and concludes Saturday, June 18, at approximately 1:30 p.m. All sessions take place in the Indiana Memorial Union.

The conference registration fee is $60 per person. One complimentary hotel room will be provided to each chapter for Friday night only. Additional hotel rooms and additional nights lodging will be billed to the chapters at $104 per night. Some alumni chapters will cover conference registration fees and additional housing for participating alumni volunteers.

Agenda for the Conference and Registration Deadline!
A final agenda for the Alumni Chapter Leaders Conference will be sent to you via e-mail in the coming days with details about this year's conference. It should be another great get-together with many alumni chapters represented at the conference. If you haven't registered yet, please do so by June 3. Summer Student Send-Offs
It’s that time of year again – Summer Student Send-Offs for new and returning I U students! Alumni chapters throughout the state and around the country will be gathering soon with new and returning IU students from their respective areas for a Student Send-Off event. Several chapters have already notified us with the date and details of their Student Send-Off. If you have not notified the Chapters Office, and are planning a Student Send-Off, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can assist you with the event. We will be happy to provide your chapter with a list and/or mailing labels of current IU students and incoming freshmen. All requests for labels need to be made no later than June 18th. We can also provide you with nametags, cups, pins, signs, etc., for your local event. If possible, a staff member may attend your event.

Please fill out the 2005 Student Information Form so we can place you Student Send-Off on the website and make sure we fill your request in a timely manner.

(The students will be able to move into the Residence Halls on August 24th. Because of students that move into Bloomington earlier than this, we suggest that the student send-off be held NO LATER than August 15th.)
