Chapter Partners
- Alumni Student Recruitment
IU alumni chapters have historically been involved with student recruiting to bring the best and brightest students to IU. Through the experience and knowledge of alumni volunteers, this is a great way for chapters to reach out to prospective students in their areas. For more information about how you and your chapter can become more involved, visit the Alumni Student Recruiters Web site. IU alumni chapters have a longstanding tradition of assisting the Bloomington Office of Admissions in community outreach and recruitment efforts. If your chapter is near a regional IU campus and you are interested in assisting with recruiting efforts for that campus, simply contact the regional Office of Admissions. - Hoosiers for Higher Education
Hoosiers for Higher Education, sponsored by the IU Alumni Association, is a national grassroots advocacy organization that raises public awareness about the importance of higher education for Indiana’s future. Its more than 9,000 members are a respected voice for the benefits that higher education offers to Indiana citizens. To expand public understanding of the importance of higher education and to communicate effectively with Congress, our Indiana General Assembly, and state government, HHE members are encouraged to:- Attend public forums on education

- Kelley Chapters
The Indiana University Kelley School of Business and its alumni association sponsor a network of alumni chapters and groups in various cities around the country. KSB alumni chapters promote the Kelley School of Business, sponsor professional development programs in their local areas, and provide Kelley graduates with additional opportunities to network.
IUAA alumni chapters located in cities where a Kelley alumni chapter exists will often partner with the Kelley chapter to bring special IU-sponsored programs to the local area. Some of these programs might include professional development workshops, economic forecast panels or presentations, or an event featuring a prominent speaker or Kelley graduate. Joint programs between the Kelley and IUAA chapters generally appeal not only to Kelley alumni, but to all IU alumni living in a particular chapter area.
Both the IUAA and the Kelley School of Business encourage all IU alumni chapters to work together on jointly-sponsored activities each year, especially events with a professional development or continuing education component or with mass appeal. - Student Alumni Programs
Student alumni organizations exist on all IU campuses. At IU Bloomington, for example, the Student Alumni Association provides members with experiences and events that enhance their educations. The SAA also seeks to increase student awareness of the IU Alumni Association.
Alumni chapters actively support IUAA-affiliated student organizations each year by sponsoring annual SAA memberships for students from various chapter areas, co-sponsoring joint community service activities, promoting SAA membership and involvement during chapter student send-offs, and co-hosting professional development programs.
