My favorite IU place is the Little 500 cinder track at Bill Armstrong Stadium. That is where I met my wife, Heather (Martin, BSN’95), as I was coaching the Dodds House men’s team and also helping coach the Cycledelics women’s team. We return every April to cheer on both teams.

Armstrong Stadium has to be my favorite place at IU. I watched a number of games there, from the stands or in the press box. I witnessed upsets and pure domination from the soccer team. As an alumna, I’ve returned for more games and watched my cousin excel in the women’s Little Five. It’s a stadium that has truly seen triumphs and heartbreaks. And for me, it reminds me of kicking off the new school year by watching my favorite team.
