May 26, 2005
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Jennifer Goins, of Bloomington, has been named director of alumni chapters for the Indiana University Alumni Association, effective May 9. In this position, she serves as a liaison between the IU Alumni Association and IU alumni chapters throughout the country — building relationships, assisting with events, and providing IUAA resources to chapters.
“Jen is a wonderful addition to the IU Alumni Association and the alumni chapters staff in particular,”
said Mark Skirvin, the IUAA’s senior director of alumni chapters. “Her knowledge of Indiana University
and the Alumni Association will help her tremendously in serving our alumni chapters throughout the country. We are
very pleased to have her as a member of our staff.”
Prior to joining the IUAA staff in Bloomington, she was the Monroe County campus life director for Southern Hills Youth for Christ, a ministry for high-school students. Her previous positions include associate director for the Kelley School of Business Alumni Programs Office and assistant director of international admissions for IU Bloomington.
Raised in Martinsville, Ind., Goins earned a bachelor’s degree from IU Bloomington and is a member of the Singing Hoosiers Alumni Council.
The Indiana University Alumni Association serves the university and its more than 466,000 living graduates through programs, services, and communications. One of the nation’s largest alumni organizations, the IUAA strives daily to connect alumni and serve IU. For more information, visit www.alumni.indiana.edu or call (800) 824-3044.
