IUAA Names Bridget Sutton Director of Alumni Programs

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Bridget Sutton began work at the IU Alumni Association as director of alumni programs on March 22.
Sutton comes to the Alumni Association from Brownsburg, Ind., where she served as the town's recreation supervisor. Previously she worked as recreation manager in Fishers, Ind.
“Bridget has excellent qualifications and experience in developing programs, planning events, and working with volunteers,” says John Hobson, senior vice president and chief operating officer of the IUAA. “As a graduate of IU, she also has a strong interest in serving her alma mater.”
As director, Sutton will assist in the coordination of several alumni programs, including the annual Indiana-Purdue Blood Donor Challenge and Commencement ceremonies at all eight IU campuses.
She will also manage many of the constituent societies and affiliate groups of the IUAA, including the alumni associations of the School of Journalism, School of Music, School of Library and Information Science, School of Nursing, School of Social Work, and the School of Optometry, as well as the Singing Hoosiers Alumni Council.
The Indiana University Alumni Association serves the university and its more than 481,000 living graduates through programs, services, and communications.
