Fans invited to kick off IU football season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Alumni and fans of Indiana University are invited to kick off the 2007 football season on Aug. 21 with a tent party at the Virgil T. DeVault Alumni Center.
IU head coach Bill Lynch will be the featured guest at the event, which will also feature other IU representatives, food, beverages, and musical entertainment.
The kickoff party will take place Tuesday, Aug. 21, in the tent behind the Virgil T. DeVault Alumni Center, 1000 E. 17th St. (across from Memorial Stadium). The party will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with a brief program at 6:30 featuring remarks by Lynch.

The kickoff party is sponsored by the IU Alumni Association, the Monroe County Chapter of the IUAA, and the IU Varsity Club.
